Cookies & Cocktails

MUST BE 21 TO ATTEND

Girl Scouts Western Oklahoma (GSWESTOK) hosts its 5th Annual Cookies & Cocktails on Thursday, August 18 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the IAO art gallery!

Local restaurants, in partnership with GSWESTOK, will create a one-of-a-kind specialty sweet or savory snack using our famous Girl Scouts Cookies.

Last year more than 200 guests sipped cocktails, sampled treats from local restaurants, and bid on amazing raffle items. Local “celebrities” will judge each entry and guests will submit their votes for the best “snack” of the night.

Proceeds will benefit the Girl Award program, which supports local troops and individual girls as they discover needs in their communities, connect with teams to share their vision, and take action to make their corner of the world a better place.

Additionally, proceeds will support the Gold Award Scholarship Fund. 2016 marks the 100-year celebration of the Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest achievement in Girl Scouting. This elite honor involves young women completing an elaborate seven-step process and taking on a project that solves a long-term community problem.
