10.28.17 - Costumes and Events

So many of you dressed up and came out to enjoy the evening with you (405) Brewing friends. We truly had a great night.

International Stout Day is on it's way. Thursday November 2nd we will be loading the taps with stouts. Come by for the debut of Barrel Aged Blueprint. Aged six months in local bourbon barrels, this "spring stout" shouts out loud with a powerful aroma of deep spirits imparted from its maturation time. International Stout Day options will also include FDR 2016, FDR 2017 Batch 1, and Sweater Weather (Porter brewed with Barrel Staves).

We will be participating in a great beer event in OKC. OKBio BrewFest showcases Oklahoma breweries while raising awareness of Oklahoma’s diverse bioscience industry. Many of the state’s breweries, wineries and distilleries are featured at this event and more than 500 people across the community attend.

10.19.17 - New Seasonal's, Barre and A Party!

We're just over half-way through October. The sun is setting earlier and the weather is cooling off, making our patios an excellent place to spend your free time. Friday the 20th we're having Pure Barre back out to the brewery for another FREE class starting at 6:30PM. This is a great opportunity to try out the body-stretching, muscle toning activity.

The taproom will be open Friday October 27th for a Halloween Party! Dress up for the costume contest and enjoy spooky music and food from Stella Reauxs. Fun for all ghouls and goblins over 21 Earth years of age.

We will release a few new beers at the taproom over the next two months, including a Porter aged with whiskey barrel staves, a barrel fermented sour with orange juice and more!

9.22.17 - Oktoberfest Time!!

Join us Friday September 29 for an Oktoberfest celebration!

9.8.17 - Perfect Strangers Bottle Release

Bottles of our CBAO collaboration beer will be released tomorrow September 9 starting at Noon. Perfect Strangers began as Belgian pale-style wort from Prairie Artisan Ales in Krebs, Oklahoma. The unfermented wort was then transported to our facility in Norman and introduced to freshly emptied BBW barrels, our barrel-aged barleywine. We inoculated the barrels with our Brett and pseudo Brett yeast strains, and five month later added raspberries and blackberries for secondary fermentation. A bourbon barrel of BBW was added to the final blend. Named from the 1980's television show "Perfect Strangers", this beer is like hugging your cousin. You've never tried anything like it before, but it feels so right.

Our newest release is headed out the first week of November. Hybrid, in a few too many words is this...

"What is Hybrid?" Imagine a world where a couple meets and gets hitched (portrayed by wheat and pilsner styles). The wedding ceremony was officiated by the spicy Aunt (white wine yeast) who was ordained online, and their offspring was a piney and earthy hippy-style dry hopped pale ale that spent the summer living in a 1987 VW Vanagon in the woods...This is their family reunion in a glass.
